“Both of my parents always told me, ‘Don’t complain about something, but find a solution.’ so I’ve kind of lived my whole life like that,” Hirschi said.
She attributes her natural inclination to help others to her father’s free-spirited nature and her mother’s compassionate heart. However, when her father passed away from colon cancer at the age of 56, Hirschi felt a profound calling to further dedicate herself to improving the lives of others.
